In the middle of river falls, but feels like a million miles away. Learn a new skill and take the fly fishing school, then try your skills right outside the cabin. The upper creek kayak of an hour was perfect, although if you are over 220 lbs you might get stuck a couple times. The cabin is immaculate, and the hummingbird and woodpecker feeders keep you amused from the kitchen table.

The Bed and Breakfast was very comfortable and quiet with a good restaurant within walking distance. I liked getting my breakfast when it suited me and the choices were more than adequate. The two owners and their dogs were very welcoming. My one piece of advice would be to select the main level bedroom if you have trouble with stairs as the they are steep and have a relatively narrow tread.
The kayaking was quite an adventure, through beautiful countryside, navigating the obstacles of low brances, logs and rocks and some quick water - all possible for a learner. The water is quite shallow in most places, so it is easy to get out of the kayak if grounded on a sand bar, or if you want to stop. The convenience of not having to transport my own kayak and the availabilty of many shuttle times and distances made this excursion very hassle free.
I am not a fly fisher, but I could tell that this sport is enjoyed my many on this lovely stretch of river.

Convenient location to everything yet feels miles away from city.
Extremely relaxing and enjoyable for rest and fly fishing.
We loved it and will be back again soon.
If you're a fly fisher and looking for a class 1 trout stream with all the best of home stay at the Kinni Creek. They also have kayaks, but due to colder rainy weather we didn't paddle.
Excellent place!

Very enjoyable stay. We walked outside in the morning and threw some casts out and had a half dozen brookies (released) before breakfast. Had much better luck on the Kinni then we did on the Rush. The cabin is about 30' above the river so you can look down and see the big browns just lurking. Never hooked into one but they are there. I blame it more on my lack of experience with the fly rod than anything else. Definitely would return.
