Stayed here on business for two nights. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable. The furnishings were new. Good channel selection on the flat screen TV. Micro-wave and fridge in room, as well as coffee maker (with tea bags!). We did not use the pool, so I can't speak to that, the exercise room was mediocre, (3 or 4 aging machines and old TV with bad speakers) but it got the job done. We ordered take-away from the restaurant, the menu was extensive and the food was simple but good. Lounge drinks were not too over-priced.
The first night our car broke down, and Cindy(?) at the front desk was way helpful recommending services and providing phone numbers. Even more amazing was the next day they let us keep the room until our auto repairs were completed, which turned out to be close to 3 PM, for no additional charge! Virtually unheard of!
2 small complaints; A) limited electrical receptacles (older property, can't be helped, NBD- I just un-plugged the lamp) and B) the fridge had been shut off and left open, perhaps to emphasize its' cleanliness? Again, NBD-we had a cooler to use for the short while it took the fridge to cool down.
Conclusion - This hotel provides exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms at a most reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I return.

The Ramada White House was in a very nice location. Plenty of places to eat. The Ramada was very neat and our room was VERY clean. The room and bed were comfortable. We'd stay there again! Thanks for a good stay.

Th Ramada White House was originally built as a supper club in 1979. It has a dome like the white house and a metal plate with the name of a state on each room. The front desk people were friendly and efficient. Our room was large and beds comfortable. The pool has a jacuzzi adjacent and opens onto a terrace. Plenty of parking. We stayed two nights an would have stayed longer if we could. If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced family place to stay this is a good choice.

Room Tip: We had a second floor room. It was nice and quiet.

Plumbing is very loud. No insulation in the walls. SOUNDS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN IN THE AM WHEN SOMEONE ABOVE OR NEXT DOOR TAKES A SHOWER OR STARTS THE JACUZZI TUB! Ask for a second floir room. Also go eat anywhere but in the hotel Country Kitchen had terrible food.

My family stayed at the White House for 2 nights. The room was very nice and the middle aged woman at the front desk had outstanding customer service. My husband is from that area and he heard from his family that they had good pizzas at the bar that is attached. So we went there and found it to be a nightmare. The old lady bartender was rude and liked to lick her fingers while making your pizza. When we finally got our pizza to bring back to the room the lod lady bartender just threw it at us as though she did us a favor by cooking it. When getting to the room the childern were hungry and ready to dive into the pizza we noticed it was not cooked on the one side at all, so we pick it up and brought it back down to the bar. Well guess what the old lady bartender totally acted like she didnt see us for the first 10 min and then when we made it known we were waiting to talk to her, she can off with a total attitude and actually swore at us while throwing the pizza.....UNCALLED FOR!!! And of course there were no managers on duty...NICE... SO to make a long story short I was happy with the room and the front desk staff but that bartender needs to go!!!!!! I would love to talk to Nikki Young, General Manager at Ramada Richland Center and tell her the rest of the story since she looks like she may actually care.

I'm really glad you enjoyed your stay. We really strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I apologize that the bartender was not as friendly as she should have been. I have passed on your comments on to the restaurant manager. We have addressed your unfortunate experience with the bartenders to ensure that this does not happen again. I really hope that if you are ever in the area again that you will give us another chance to serve you better.

It was so cool to get to stay at the White House! The name and the exterior alone upped the ante for us, and the interior was classy, perfect! We really felt like Presidents we found out we would be getting a suite, with a whirlpool in it! The rooms are all State names, and we stayed in the Pennsylvania Room. It was a large, one room suite, with a pull down bed that was hidden in the wall, and a fold-out couch. That was pretty neat, and for us, three guys traveling, it was fine, though if you were a couple with kids and wanted privacy, it would not be for you. In addition, pull down beds and fold out couches are just never as comfortable as the real thing.

There was a full sized refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, and there were dishes and cups in the cupboard, so it would be comfortable for an extended stay. There was plenty of counter space, though nothing to cook with except the microwave. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful, and the shower looked space-aged, sort of like something out of the Jetson's! There were two sinks, which is helpful in the morning rush of things.

The staff was friendly and courteous, and we struck up conversations with Nichollette and Cindy. We spoke to Nikki, the manager on the phone, and again was very friendly and professional. There is a restaurant, a Country Kitchen, inside the hotel, again with a great staff and excellent manager, Dewey. The food there was delicious, and Country Kitchen is known for good food at a very affordable price. While it wasn't what we expected to find in "The White House," it was perfect for what we needed.

There was a fitness room and pool downstairs, as well as a lounge, pool tables, and bar. There are also banquet rooms for parties, etc.

Overall it was a great experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we would recommend this place to anyone, though we would recommend a standard room and not a suite.

Room Tip: For the best bed choose a standard room, for lots of space go with the Suite!
