We asked at our hotel about local cuisine. They said that the Racine area was settled by Danes and the prominent local dish was the Kringle. They gave us a local magazine with an ad that said O H Bakery had been voted the best local kringle. So we went to have kringle for breakfast. Then we saw how large the kringles were, far too much for the 2 of us. They had 2 kringles cut for sampling, which we did. One was apple, one was rhubarb. Both were good, with fine layers of buttery dough. We each got a danish, which were delicious.
(Note it is O H Bakery, not O and H Bakery.)
