This is an old location (on the lake) with a new management that has provided a fun menu and a fine selection of good microbrews. None are made here, but there are plenty of good micro breweries in Wisconsin.

Group of 5 so a variety of food. The beer flights are a great idea to experiment and the waitress was knowledgeable-but it ended there. The salmon, at about $24, was the tail end of the fillet and really less than 3 oz, overcooked, on a cedar plank the size of a deck of cards that definitely had been used before and I am sure will be again. Pecan crusted steak- maybe 4 oz again at way over $20. Cioppino, my favorite, had a lot of mussels, 2 shrimp, one very small piece of fish and very small bay scallops in a salty tomato paste broth. Was supposed to have toast points-actually very small pieces of soggy Italian bread. Waitress was nice and took them to the kitchen to have them toasted but just disappointed overall. Fireplace was warm, but for $150 the are much better choices in Racine.

Finding a restaurant on the edge of a beautiful harbour with good food and attentive service on a sunny September afternoon was a real highlight of our Sunday drive from Chicago. The deck looks over the busy marina and was the perfect place for lunch. Nice varied menu and professional staff. A great side light was the thoughtful and extensive baskets of amenities found in their restrooms - wish we saw this more often on our travels.

I wanted to really like this restaurant as I love the setting and have been disappointed when the other restaurants here have closed.

Decided to try this restaurant as it has an outdoor deck and it was a beautiful September evening. Arrived without reservations and told it was a 30 minute wait, so sat at the bar outside. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. I had a flavorful Bloody Mary and DH had his choice of 18 beers on tap and another 2 menu pages of bottled beers from all over. They did not allow us to order an appetizer at the bar as they said it is too busy on Fridays, but did eventually bring a pretzel mix. Our pager went off in about 35 minutes and we were seated in the large main room with a wonderful view of Lake Michigan. The fireplace in the center is nice, but the room is still very noisy.

Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The downfall is the food. I had the bar b q platter and chose the brisket, which was fine, and the ribs, which were dry and without much flavor even though there was a crusty dry rub on them. The choice of 6 sauces was nice, but the all were too sweet, ie. root beer sauce and cherry cola sauce. The Cajun had a bite to it, but I didn't really like any of them. The sides of cole slaw and MacNCheese were blah. My DH had the fish tacos which he said were good, but nothing special.

Will probably go back for drinks and the view, but would try other dishes next time.

If it were just for the view and for the beer selection, it would easily be a 5 rating. The food menu is pretty decent with lots to choose from. I went with the bbq platter and it was good with 6 different bbq sauces to choose from. Pulled pork and was pretty good and the brisket was good as well. Baked beans were just so so and needed some bbq sauce to make it better. The jalapeno mac n cheese was very good. Fantastic views of the Marina and many beers to choose from on tap and even more for bottles.
