I stay at Marriotts' every month. This Marriott does not match the standards the one almost always receives at a Marriott.

The rooms are old, musty and have not been updated. Noisy air conditions that was hard to set, old bathrooms with slow draining sink.... this hotel is dated. I would expect it to be sold and rebranded as a second tier hotel.

The weekend we spent at the Racine Marriott the hotel was full of traveling soccer teams and people attending weddings. I imagine they do deep discounts for groups.

No problem staying here- but do not expect a typical Marriott experience. I would recommend this hotel to a friend as a convenient location only.

This is the nicest non-resort hotel that I have stayed at. The king size bed was firm without being brick hard, great pillow and a "down" comfortable. Room was tastefully furnished and CLEAN. Wonderful all the way around.

We booked our rooms on Priceline.com and named our own price. We couldn't have been happier with the result! The Marriott Racine was very nice on the outside and lovely on the inside. The room had a King size bed, it was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in...nice down comforters...just great! The only down side, was the heater/cooler...it was a guessing game as for the temperature but, once under the covers, it didn't matter. Our co-travelers had a slight issue with their heater but, a technician was called and was to the room within 15 minutes. All in all, a great place to stay and we would HIGHLY recommend it.

I used to perform at Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha.

I am a long time Marriott Rewards member and exclusive to Marriott brand for several years.

During the Bristol Season, I stayed in Racine every weekend. I alternate between Fairfield and Marriott depending on availability and which hotel is having a special that weekend.

This one is my favorite, and I’ve been just about everywhere.

A year ago I declared Racine as ?my other home town? and this past summer they did not fail to live up to it.

Having a restaurant and room service on site is very convenient. The room that are remodeled look great. Some were still under construction when I was there last.

Very friendly staff and great service.

TRY THE CHEESE CURDS!!

From the outside, the Marriott looks pretty standard and a bit dated. But, the rooms inside are pretty fresh and clean as they have been remodeled. The fitness room is nice although the TVs did not work. The corridors are long so it can be a long walk from the elevator to your room. They have free internet access but you have to ask for the code at the front desk. There are computers with free internet access in the hotel lobby. I did not eat in the restaurant as there are plenty of options near the hotel. In all, it was better than what I expected. I'd stay there again.

If you are stuck in Racine for the night then Marriott could be an option for you. The hotel is situated on the highway leading into the city center and is about 5 miles from the city center. There is not much to do in Racine other than the views of the lake and the yatches at the jetty. The Marriott is built in a characterless building with long corridors and characterless but clean rooms. Book a room close to the elevators if you dont want to spend hours wandering around the corridors. There is a nice heated pool and a small gym which are a welcome addition to kill time. I ate very rarely at the hotel restaurant because there is a plethora of choices of places to eat on the way to town; though you would definitely need a car to get to these places. The hotel staff were always courteous and helpful.
