Clark's Cafe has a really friendly, old time country diner atmosphere. On Sunday mornings when we eat there, Mr. Clark himself is on premises, chatting with customers. Not just the regulars- anyone who wants a little conversation. He and his restaurant are very interesting, especially to car buffs. He is a great story teller and the diner interior walls are lined with customer supplied photos of antique, classic and hot-rod cars (now including our 1963 Austin Healey- just outside the bathroom doors). The food is great, the service is friendly, and if they're not "slammed" (a possiblity on Sunday mornings) pretty darned prompt. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and the portions are generous. And at least twice when we've been there they were walking around offering free piping hot home-made doughnuts. All in all, it's a unique and wonderful experience.
