This is definitely a must see for all aviation buffs, and the not so aviation buffs :). Kids of all ages will enjoy. Many things for adults as well. I went with a group and we had a tour guide then he let us do on our own for as long as we wanted. I don't know if everyone gets a tour guide with price of admission. Some truly amazing stuff.

We just spent a couple hours at the EAA Aviation Museum. This place is amazing. Never before have displays captured my interest and held my attention as they do here. Incredible array of aircraft on display. The visual and written information on WWII was our favorite section. Also, aircraft engines on display from the very first flights to modern day. The cost to get in is reasonable and the volunteers are super friendly and helpful. You won’t be disappointed.

We visited the EAA Aviation Museum during August which was a great time to visit. With AirVenture over, we were able to spend a lot of time here without the crowds. We virtually had the museum to ourselves and the Kids area was so much fun. The museum itself is beautifully maintained and we learned so much. Take a look, you will not be disappointed. Thanks EAA!

We highly recommend this museum. You are taken through a history of aviation. As adults we really enjoyed the kids section with hands on experiences. The volunteers are very sweet and kind. They were very helpful with directions and coming attractions. We normally don’t go to museums but don’t miss out on this museum.
