I stayed at this hotel as just a plays to sleep and shower as I was going to be out and about. I would not stay here again though...it needs a HUGE makeover. Our room smelled like a stale ashtray, there was a huge burn mark/hole on the counter in the bathroom, the tub had some sort of disgusting clumps of junk all over it, the drain was not cleaned before us as there was hair clogging it, the carpets in the main area are ripped and falling apart. The beds are comfortable, the TV turned itself both on and off and changed channels on its own and the remote didn't work. I'd pick another hotel in the are to stay next time.

To whomever gets this short note, we’ve stayed quite a few times at Super 8 and this was the first really marginal one we’ve experienced ....... and your survey sheet won’t even load so I can fill it out. Summary – Super 8 by the airport in Oshkosh WI – first our room (117) wouldn’t open with our key so the desk rekeyed it but the key still didn’t work so the desk person let us in with her master key but then we couldn’t leave the room and reenter without having someone from the desk reopen it for us. They said the batteries in the door lock were too weak to work. Don’t they have a schedule for changing those preventively?? Anyway, that seemed like a poor idea to us so we ended up upstairs in room 217 (with my bad knee on stairs and all which is why we wanted a 1st floor room (You Have No elevator). We got there at 9:45 on a warm summer night and there was no air conditioning on in either room when we arrived. In 217, the cast metal piece to latch the swing clasp lock on our door was broken so that couldn’t be used; the flapper valve on the toilet tank leaked so you could hear water trickling through it; there was so little toilet paper that we had to ration it unless we wanted to go back down to the desk and ask for more – no spare roll in the room. Basically, that hotel could be a decent place to stay, but it needs a real attitude adjustment to the people managing it (who couldn’t exactly be described as happy and cheerful) in which they make a commitment to go through the place and fix what is broken and ask themselves what they should be doing in order for their rooms to be someplace they would actually think about coming back to if they were the ones staying there...... and a broken door clasp lock, a leaking toilet tinkling all night, a tiny ration of toilet paper, a room key/lock that didn’t work on the first room we tried, and a stuffy 80+ degree room to walk into and fall into bed with a pretty small air conditioner that did cool it down by morning (but not quickly) is certainly not what one expects for an overnight stay. Thank You for your time. Charlie Kolpin (and Barbara)

I stayed here in rm 225 my room was clean the window opened the ac worked. The guy at the front desk was nice, super 8 continental breakfast always leaves a lot to b e desired. The desk was in an akward place the chair was in the way. I have 1 more night to go here and so far no complaints. The washer only washes hot even when you put it on cold but its cheap $1.00 to wash $.75 to dry.

$287.50 for 2 nights. Yes, it was a Friday and Saturday, but......for that price I was expecting a nice room. Instead, it looks like furniture from the 70's all scratched up and worn, hard beds, hair in the shower, toilet paper you can practically see thru, and crappy towels. I should have just stayed 15 minutes away and it would have been half the price for a much, much nicer room!
