Stayed here with my wife while we attended an event at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. We found the room clean and very comfortable and appears to have been recently updated, Free WIFI with a strong signal. Did hear some city noise at night to include a train and the nearby Fire Department responding. There gave us money off certificates for breakfast at the hotel restaurant. That worked well as you could select as large or small of a breakfast as you wished, Overall a comfortable stay.

Room Tip: Located on the Fox river, could be a nice view in the summer with local boat traffic

We stayed in a suite so I'm not sure how other rooms look, but ours was great! Wonderful view, comfortable bed and a nice whirlpool tub for two. The food in the restaurant was great. Would come again in the future.

Booked rooms for friends and family in conjunction with a wedding at nearby Grand Opera House. The proximity was a factor-- however, it was the service of the staff and condition of the hotel and amenities that "sold" the property. Recently renovated and reopened, this property was well-received and enjoyed by our wedding guests, many of them who travel frequently for business and pleasure. Service at the Ground Round was mainly for breakfast but the food and service was excellent and again, staff went the extra mile to accommodate our guests as a group. Delighted to be able to recommend this hotel, especially for users of the attached convention center or for others needing proximity to Downtown.

I recently stayed here for a business meeting that was held on the property. The location was convenient, and the hotel was very nice.

My co-worker and I decided to save our business some money and shared a room. It had two queen sized beds, and there was plenty of room for both of us to have "our space." There was a nice sized desk with plenty of outlets, both on the desk and the nightstand, for both of us to plug in our electronics to charge and use.

The breakfast we enjoyed in the attached restaurant was delicious- lots of options. The hotel has sufficient staff and kitchen for the cooked-to-order breakfast service. The portions were large, and the food was well made. It isn't included, but I don't expect a full breakfast included with a hotel stay. I remember being excited if a hotel had coffee and donuts in the lobby, so having the option of buying breakfast within the hotel was nice.

I didn't use their pool or fitness facilities, but it looked well maintained. I also noted that they have a pool lift installed!

There was a young lady working 3-11 the night we checked in who was extremely helpful. My coworker and I were very hungry after traveling and attending our first session, but it was pretty late in the night. She helped us find a restaurant that would deliver, gave us options, and she made us a copy of their menu.

The only reason I am giving them a 4/5 was their daytime front desk staff. During our breaks from our meetings during the day we would often times walk through the lobby, etc...None of them greeted us, smiled, acknowledged us, etc... One of my favorite things about the Best Western brand is that their staff is generally well trained to be overly caring to their guests...Most of the ones I have stayed at haven't been Premiers though...For me, as a traveler, I would choose personal interaction over extra do-dads...

Room Tip: Our room didn't overlook the river- probably would have requested it if I'd thought of it...

Very nice room. Spotless bathroom, super white towels and super white sheets. Updated clean looking carpet. Refrigerator. Comfy beds. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. Indoor pool and whirlpool. No complimentary breakfast, however. In fact, the "information book" in the room had a white sticker over continental breakfast, in attempts to block it from guests' view. Ate breakfast at Ground Round for about $35 for 2 adults and a child.

Great clean hotel. The pool/hot tub area has a wall of windows to the hallway that leads to the restaurant, so it felt a little bit like being in a fish bowl with people constantly walking by. Once we started to relax, it wasn't that big of a deal. Nice stay, extremely comfortable beds, and wonderful hot breakfast. Much better than the standard continental breakfast with cereal and muffins. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Osh Kosh. The staff was friendly and the hotel lobby was very inviting. Our room was comfortable, clean and provided everything we needed. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and the food was very good! Since we didn't bring a laptop we were glad that computers were available near the lobby for our use. Overall, our experience was very positive and we will certainly stay there again if ever in the area.
