My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the St. Croix River Inn and our expectations were exceeded on all fronts. We reserved the Stoneleigh suite. A good portion of the room was a part of the original structure built in 1904. Is had a wonderful four season porch that overlooked the St. Croix River. Probably the best surprise was the dinner prepared and served by the owner Ben. It was a five course meal that was phenomenal. Breakfast was served in our room. Again our expectations were exceeded. We highly recommend it for a special night or two and absolutely make sure you eat a personally prepared dinner. Thank you Ben!

Drove up from Minneapolis to get some peace and quiet and this place was perfect. The bed was excellent, the massage bath worked well, and the fireplace kept the room as warm as you'd like. I don't usually write reviews but this place was such as good value and the amenities and services were so solid that I felt like I owed them a good review. Perfect for a quick romantic getaway, with decent restaurants in nearby towns.

Room Tip: Not all of the rooms will have a river view, ask if its important to you.

We absolutely loved this place!!! My husband and I were just getting away to relax and re-energize. This place gave us that experience. Even though it is listed under B&B's you are completely private and don't even really realize there are others at the inn. Breakfast is served in your room at a time you choose and therefore it makes it a private and intimate inn. We stayed in 2 different rooms as we wanted to stay 3 nights and the rooms were booked. The inn keeper made our transition each day easy and we still felt relaxed. Our favorite room was the Cascade room with the waterfall, beautiful view (although the Osceola room had a beautiful view as well) and the 4 season sunroom. We went in mid October so we did not sit out on the deck. Breakfast each morning was delicious and we could just relax in our room and take our time before we headed out each day. We have stayed in a number of B&B's over the years and this was the most relaxing and private one. Will definately go back if in the area.

Room Tip: The Cascade room is set apart from all the other rooms and it was so quiet and private with an amazi...

My partner and I were looking to do an overnight getaway in the St. Croix Falls area, and decided to book the Bayport room in the St. Croix River Inn. We loved the pictures we saw of the inn and the room online, but when we arrived in person it was apparent that pictures didn't do the accommodations justice. It's a beautiful early-1900s home restored as a B&B, with lovely furnishings and a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Andrew, the innkeeper, was a pleasure to interact with and was full of interesting tidbits about the history of the establishment. The environment was quiet and relaxing, and breakfast was delicious. We will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Room Tip: The Bayport room is gorgeous, and has a patio with an absolutely stunning view of the St. Croix Rive...

We stayed at the Inn for 5 nights this fall, wonderful experience. Second floor Stillwater Suite was fantastic-roomy, beautiful view, and wonderful deck to enjoy breakfast on. Daily breakfasts were delicious, and weekend dinners were well worth the extra cost. Truly fine dining !

The Inn was just like the photos only better. The Osceola room was a great combination of the original foundation and new touches. View-great, Andrew - great host, better chef !! Nothing like waking up to the smell of pumpkin/whole wheat pancakes with maple/brandy syrup and fresh fruit. We WILL go back.

Room Tip: Osceola room is very secluded on lower level

The room was exactly as described, but still more than we expected. It was wonderfully private and quiet even though there were several other guests, it felt like we were the only ones there. My only regret was not booking more days! The view was breathtaking, lots of nice trails and the falls to explore. We took the canoe package, and I would highly recommend it! The owners were very nice and breakfast was delicious (especially from our deck looking out over the river). If you are on the fence about booking, hop over, you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: We had the Stillwater, it was just as it was pictured. From the bed you can see right out of the lar...
