Description: Seasons by the Lake overlooks Lake Onalaska and the Mighty Mississippi Valley. Our view is outstanding. Enjoy dinner inside in our comfortable dinning room, or our lounge or our outdoor patio.

Nice view--spacious. Beautiful patio if you are there in warmer weather. We had a group of 20. Service was good except one meal mixup. Our group was generally pleased with the food and the wide menu selection.

Ambiance, a wonderful view and a chef who cooks great food. Those three things make Seasons by the Lake a great restaurant. For ambiance, you have a dining room with a beamed cathedral ceiling and flickering sconces on exposed stone walls. For a view you have windows and an outdoor patio that overlooks Lake Onalaska. And to the chef, kudos for sea bass over risotto, porcini mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce, cioppino stew and pork chops with a strawberry reduction glaze. Our entrees were delicious!

The restaurant is located in what is considered old downtown Onalaska, away from the chain restaurants by the interstate. It sits perched high across the street from the lake, and offers some wonderful sunsets.

The restaurant was overall amazing. With a view of the sunset, the amazing service and food, and great prices, it was a great place to eat. Everyone in our group of four loved what they ordered, and with a wide variety on the menu we all could get something new that interested us.

It was nice that they had a varied price range of items. I liked that they had some very, healthy unique offerings in addition to traditional items. We sat on the porch which overlooks the water. It was was a little noisy due to being by the road but worth sitting there for the scenery.

Casual, great view of Mississippi River & MN Bluffs in distance on The Great River Road, Hwy #35. Good food and reasonable prices. Especially recommend: deep fried cheese curds - very nicely done, not over-breaded. Took group of eight there, included two just turned teens & 6 adults. Service was OK, if a bit stuttered between two staff - but worked out. Recommend the Tex-Mex Burger served topped with good guacamole. Dined on the porch on a beautiful summer day. Never got indoors. Bloody Mary was very good with adequate spiciness and a bottle of Tabasco standing nearby for extra heat as needed (needed!). Beer chaser was perfect, honest Wisconsin drink.
