Ambiance, a wonderful view and a chef who cooks great food. Those three things make Seasons by the Lake a great restaurant. For ambiance, you have a dining room with a beamed cathedral ceiling and flickering sconces on exposed stone walls. For a view you have windows and an outdoor patio that overlooks Lake Onalaska. And to the chef, kudos for sea bass over risotto, porcini mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce, cioppino stew and pork chops with a strawberry reduction glaze. Our entrees were delicious!
The restaurant is located in what is considered old downtown Onalaska, away from the chain restaurants by the interstate. It sits perched high across the street from the lake, and offers some wonderful sunsets.
