Open seasonally when high school and college students are avail, this is a quintessential American drive in with car hops. No inside seating available. Only you car or picnic benches.
Good variety of burgers, chicken, steak sandwiches, fish, etc. Many proteins to choose from, and not all are fried. Unfortunately no salads or vegetables on the menu unless it's a pickle, but coleslaw available upon request.
Genuine Wisconsin custard is the primary draw. Vanilla and chocolate always, plus daily special on occasion. ANY kind of sundae is available. ALL are sinfully tasty. Any time we enteretain out of state guests, this is on our 'must do list'.
Wisconsin prides itself on many great custard stands. The Kiltie is as good as the best, but with the unique ambience of an old fashioned drive in with cute, friendly carhops.
Open sometime in March until mid September when HS football season wipes out their help.
