My wife and I spent the whole day here. It was fabulous. OK I am a bird lover however the displays, talks and exhibits would be of interest to all. The birds are in such good condition and their cadges are so so clean. Even when the birds are set free they are clearly very happy to return to their homes. The owl flying demonstration is not to be missed at the end of the day .... and the vultures are so cute! Yes that;s right they are CUTE! Everything about this place is 5 star from the car park to the excellent food in the restaurant .... we nearly missed lunch because there is so much to see .....

Passing down the A303, you will not have missed the sign to the Hawk Conservancy.
This is a remarkable place with so much to see during the day. The guides are well-informed and entertaining. Who would have known that vultures are so clean, so endangered and so exciting - watch them swoop overhead, almost brushing your hair; yes, literally.
It was impressive also to see that the birds, once their display was over, knew when to return to their cavernous homes.
The restaurant is excellent too. The queue moved quickly, the food was good, not expensive, with pleasant staff. And all very clean.
Thoroughly recommended all round.

Spent a day here last week. Wow!! The flying displays are wonderful. The Wings of Africa display was my personal favourite, the scene was set beautifully and when the air is full of kites and ibis swooping and soaring to music, I challenge anyone not to be moved by the experience. Oh, and you will come away loving vultures!!

We go here whenever we are passing or near the A303 as it is only 600 metres off the main road. The displays and birds are amazing. The staff are so knowledgeable and caring. Well worth supporting.

We have just returned from a fabulous day out at the Hawk Conservancy. The staff were all absolutely wonderful but the real stars were the birds who choose to live here. They are free to fly away and are all flown out in the wild and return 'home' each night to their clean homes with fresh water and caring staff. The whole day was outstanding with 3 separate shows of birds in flight, plenty of time to meander around between shows and a lovely and well priced cafe. We arrived at 10.50 and left at 5.50 - for £15!! You can take a packed lunch too. We got to meet and greet some of the birds too and the conservation work that is being done is brilliant. Well done to you all - I have never paid so little for such a big day out, full of caring , learning, entertainment and nature at its best xx Thank you so much xx
