“Mexican food in Minocqua”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

We have eaten here 3 or 4 times and we have enjoyed our meals each and every time. We have tried the Mexican steak, tacos and more. None of us are big fans of super spicy food, we found all the food very tasty and with great flavor. The chips and salsa made a great starter.

“Yuck”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2013

The food is hot and brown and there is a lot of it....but boring. The salsa was awful, we added half a bottle of Tapitio just to give it some flavor. If you like large quantities of food at a cheap price, this is the place for you.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2013

We stopped here for lunch. We had the fajita lunch special. It was excellent and had plenty of leftovers for dinner. The service was efficient and friendly. The complimentary salsa and chips were awesome.....great flavor and crispy, fresh chips! Loved the margaritas! We will be back!

“Consistent and inexpensive fast Mexican food and reliable staff.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Cute, clean fast food Mexican restaurant. Meals are super cheap. Huge menu. Food always tastes good and tastes the same each time we dine. Never surprised. Crisp, fresh tortilla chips and salsa served complimentary. Yummy pina coladas! Hard working staff. Pleased to see the same smiling staff each time we dine. Certainly not a 5 star, white table cloth, restaurant and should only be judged on comparison to restaurants of the same caliber. Good food.

“Left the Spice Jars in Mexico”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 18, 2013

I don't really think about eating Mexican food when I'm in the North woods of Wisconsin, but my husband loves it, so ate here as it was his turn to pick. Big new building with what looked like a lot of cars in the parking lot, sign out celebrating their 2nd anniversary, so headed in for a chile relleno lunch. The service was fast & friendly, but food should have been delivered with a side of embarrassment. This was the blandest plate of food on the planet. Seriously, the salsa was ketchup and the enchilada sauce had not even a hint of spice. Everything had been well prepared but with no taste whatsoever. We now refer to El Mez as Les Mis.
