The quality is certainly excellent though there is nothing remarkable or memorable about any of the entrees or desserts.

Cruising the ATV trails in Western Wisconsin, we pulled off the trail and into Brewery Creeks parking lot.
Our suprise started at the interior, rustic but spotless, with a bar out of the 1800's.
Next came the dust washer, and they make some fine beer here. 6 handles ranging from wheat to porter, with a heavy in there for good measure.
The food menu was larger than we thought it ws going to be, offering pub grub as well as more refined meals. I had their grilled cheese and it was outstanding!
We didn't stay there, but if the rooms are anything like the pub, you will find a spotless well managed property.
Not much to do close by, unless you are an ATV enthusiast, in which they offer some 100 miles of 30 mph groomed trails to explore.

Dinner specials are truly unique and the beer is fantastic. A very personal approach to fine dining. Good value too.

We were on the hunt for a decent meal and cold drink after a long day of travel. That is when we stumbled upon Brewery Creek.

We were apparently in between lunch and dinner around 4pm, and were told we would have to wait 20 minutes before dinner was served. No problem, we sat at the bar and ordered a drink. A very good brewed beer (the name unknown) kept us there to enjoy the upscale atmosphere. We were given a menu along with the nightly specials and decided that being we live in the city, spending $60 for a meal and drinks was not what we were looking for. We purchased a $14.50 growler of beer and headed out.

We have purchased other growlers of beer from brew houses around the United States and also in Germany. We've never had any go flat over night. I'm not sure if they are meant to sell them for a take home and enjoy experience right away, but perhaps someone should state that they need to be enjoyed within hours of purchase. The beer was flat by noon the next day, a disappointment being it was quite tasty originally. SO...if you're looking for a little town in the middle of no where WI, where art and high prices are your thing, Mineral Point is the place to be. Stop in and enjoy a meal at BCB, the food did look quite good and for sure try their line of brewed beers!

We picked Mineral Point to stay overnight, as being close to an overbooked Platteville (with next day Graduation Ceremonies at UW-Platteville). It was a pleasant surprise to find out that we had a choice of several highly-rated eateries; we don't know how good the others are, but we picked a winner. Great atmosphere, a terrific waitress (Noreen) and very tasty pub food (Brew Burger for me and the Salmon Sandwich for my wife). Only drawback was the lack of liquor availability - beer & wine only, but that was pretty easy to adjust to.
