July 26 - 6 foot waves - how was i suppose to know that this would be an issue? I think Lake Express should give EVERYONE a dramamine prior to boarding at their expense. Build it into the price of the ticket. Can't imagine it would be more expensive than the clean up. This voyage was the must unreal experience. After the first hour of misery, i could have cared less if the boat capsized. The nauseau, vomitting and cold sweats were nothing i've ever experienced. I was immobilized by the experience. Everyone on board was in the same boat (ha ha, not so much). God help you if you have kids with you. It's enough to take care of yourself.
RETURN TRIP: 2 days later - CANCELLED due to mechanical issues for the entire day (probably still cleaning the boat 2 days later). Stranded in Milwaukee without a car.
MY ADVICE: Don't prebook. ONLY travel if there aren't wave warnings. Make sure you take your car. Bring dramamine. A change of clothes. A towel to protect the clothes you're wearing. A blanket to cover you, the cold sweats are drenching and cold.
