Everything about La Merenda is laudable. The chef, Peter Sandroni, has a commitment to locally grown & harvested ingredients which keeps the menu innovative, fresh and interesting. The room is a lot of fun, service is friendly & reliable, and the chef's own personal commitment is apparent -- Sandroni constantly walks the floor to check on guests. A trip to Milwuakee is not complete without a stop here for the region's top tapas.
