Didn't have nearly enough time to fully enjoy this part of Milwaukee but I plan to come back! Very cool "vibe," lots to see and do, great shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Loved seeing the redevelopment of great, old buildings.

This is a nice little area of Milwaukee with plenty of restaurants and bars, as well as coffee houses. We visited the Public Market which is small but amazing. Stop by the Wicked Hop across the street for a great Bloody Mary! You can catch a Pedal Bar in that area as well. Never been on it but looks to be a blast!

Third Ward is a great area to walk around and tour the restaurants, shops, galleries and bars. I highly suggest St. Paul Seafood, and the Wicked Hop.

Explore the architecture and history of the Irish and Italian settlements. Be sure to include a stroll through the Water St. Market where you'll find fresh seafood, aromatic spices and coffees from around the world, and colorful souvenirs. Once you've worked up an appetite, try one of the many restaurants in the district.

We liked the public market and the variety of shops to check out. We also enjoyed the choices of places to stop for a drink or something to eat that allowed comfortable outdoor dining.
