I am a salad nut and this was the most fantastic stop. From the rear entrance turn right and “Salads” is immediately on your left. You can choose from their list or customize your own.

T-shirts, beer and wine, seafood, deli items, tacos, baked goods, and spices are just a few of the things you can purchase or try at MPM. It’s a medium sized, not too overwhelming market that is surrounded by plenty of other cool shopping, bar and restaurants, cafes and fun things to do in MKE.

We went to the public market because everything I read said it was a place to go. We wanted to eat at St Paul's so it worked out for us going there. It was a lot of food places (restaurant type not markets as I had anticipated) and not much else. It was ok.

So thankful the front desk at my hotel recommended this place! Great place to grab a drink, do some shopping, and get some dinner. First I stopped for a glass of wine at Thief Wine (the Riesling was delightful). Then on to dinner at St. Paul Fish Company where I had the shrimp tacos and lobster bisque (YUM). Then a slice of carrot cake from C. Adams Bakery for back at the hotel (holy moly). Throw in some shopping at the various shops and it's a fun night in Milwaukee! Lived this place and will definitely be back to try the other restaurants.

Nice place to get a bite to eat, but a bit expensive. It was originally opened as an indoor market. It quickly transformed into more of a food hall. There is an electric group of food types-mexican, seafood, soups, mediterranean among others. A few shops offering local foods/goods-bakery, cheeses, souvenirs, etc. It is quite small and can be very hectic. If you aren't eating 30 minutes tops will be plenty. Parking can be difficult on the street. The lot is easier and
a bit more expensive (free with validation with purchase with time restriction). It's an ok stop as part of a visit to the area, but not a destination in itself.
