“A Milwaukee Landmark”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012

Until recently, this clock was the largest four-sided clock in the world. If you visit downtown Milwaukee or its near south side, it's hard not to see it, so in this sense it's really a "can't miss" when you come to town. Once a year, the public is invited to see the clock from the inside as part of the "Doors Open" event. As I write this, that opportunity is next weekend. I'm looking forward to checking out the tower.

“If you haven't seen Big Bend in London, this is just as big.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2012

I have lived here all my life...the Bradleys were the most gracious giving family in Milwaukee....providing thoudsands of jobs and donating more than 750 million to community buldings and charities....the famous Bradley Center and the Petit Olympic Ice Rink plus the Calitrava at the lakefront are all just some of the great reminders of a great family that help make Milwaukee a great place to live or visit.

“The Polish Moon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2012

This is the worlds largest, 4-sided,backlighted clock. It will celebrate 50 years in 2012. It's known locally (& affectionatley) as "The Polish Moon" as this was where a large part of the city's Polish community lived and workd. The lobby of the Allen-Bradley building is a study in the grand old office buildings, absolutely perfect. Remember that this is a place of business and and there are no tours as such. You can admire from almost anywhere in the city.

It's a clock; a very big clock. And it's good at being an awesome and large clock.
