“Historic, small, must see”

This historic place is a must see in Milwaukee. Wonderful history and beautiful. It is small, and just takes a short time to see it. But worth it.

Lovely chaple with an old world mystique! Bring a sweater as it can be damp inside, would not want to change that fact just be prepared. Is a great part of the larger MU Campus.

“Interesting piece of history.”
Reviewed September 20, 2011

This chapel was moved intact to NY and then to campus of Marquette University. A small chapel, but it contains a huge piece of history - a rock that Joan of Arc rested her sword on. In a very peaceful sitting in the middle of campus. Hard to find, but several students helped us out. little parking - try parking on N16th between Clybourn and Wisconsin, then walk east - just ask any student where it is. We actually ran into a student who lived near us.

“If different Chapels interest you, check it out!”
Reviewed January 7, 2010

I was a Marquette student and frequented St. Joan of Arc Chapel throughout college. It's a tiny, quaint little chapel with minimal seating. But students usually sit on the heated stone floor for mass. It was a very intimate "Church" experience that I couldn't get enough of.

It's beautiful no matter what the season, as in the summer the flowers outside the chapel are in full blossom and in the winter the snow looks perfect! It's definitely the most intimate and desired place to visit on Marquette's campus. However, if you don't have an interest in chapels and aren't linked by being a Marquette alum, it's probably not worth a trip there.
