A lot of hype and attention went into the renovations that occurred in 1997 . . . . . . ahem . . . . . I felt the priests at that time were more concerned about the "look" of the church rather than the people themselves. Be that as it may, the priests were diligent and faithful in ensuring a beautiful structure that is pleasing to the eyes. The paintings, stained-glass windows, and woodwork leave one genuinely satisfied after an afternoon of viewing.
