We were visiting our daughter and her family from Michigan for our grandson's 8th birthday celebration. The night before his big party, I decided to treat all to dinner out. We had been scrambling all day with party prep &just needed a quiet dinner to relax. As soon as we walked in the door with our party of 6, our 4 yr old granddaughter included, the Bluemound manager(?) stepped over to the hostess and told her a specific spot to seat us. I noted at the time the scowl the mgr. was giving me and wondered why. The kids were quiet and are very well mannered, we had just come through the door, so I assumed it wasn't us and she was having a bad day. We were seated next to a party of about 25 - 30 adults with one baby who were just arriving and were extremely noisy. Instead of this group settling down as time went on, the noise and travelling from seat to seat, butts in my granddaughters face while she is eating, a grown man, screaming at the baby who had just been screaming, the exact same way at the top of his lungs. The experience was far from relaxing. Our family couldn't even carry on a conversation. We spoke to our waitress, who said she had questioned the seating of both parties at the same time. She said she didn't have the time she needed to devote to our table either. We packed up our food "to go". A $10 discount was given to us, which we didn't request, but our waitress got for us. My husband paid the bill, we had brought in a coupon from the Bluemound website for 'Buy one meal full price, get one mwal half off'. That same mgr. honored it for the kids meals and we ended up getting a little over a $1 off - WOOHOO! Never again!
