Stopped in with a client when realized steakhouse we intended to go to was closed, there was a blizzard on, and this was close by. They took us immediately without reservations. It was a little early but filled up fast so this was probably an inconvenience but they didn't make us feel as if it was one. Very attentive service throughout. The first server was more on the over anxious side but the young woman who picked up more of the later service was calm, natural and was really one of the best servers I've seen in a long time. Good but pricey wine list. Food was terrific - I ordered the caprese salad, 6oz. filet, chocolate bread pudding dessert. Not sure the steak was medium well as I requested, more like medium rare, but I'm flexible as long as it's still medium. My biggest issue is price. My company is picking up the tab but we have daily meal expenses these days even in the Fortune 100 and this was pretty high. I was entertaining a client so have to do it all - drinks, salad or appetizer, meal and dessert - but given it's Milwaukee, perhaps more thought should be given to what companies are willing to fund these days. As an individual, I'd never go. I intend to retire some day!
