Prepare to wait a while for your food. The Serbian homemade taste is worth the wait! I enjoyed a delicious stuffed zucchini dish. The staff was very friendly and even accommodated a vegetarian friend with some off-menu items of grilled vegetables and beans. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and old world decor. You can catch a glimpse of an old Schlitz lamp over the bar and vintage sign at the top of the building. Everyone around us ordered the Burek. The waitress even suggested ordering it by phone ahead of arrival on my next visit.

“Really good Serbian Restaurant. Best in Milwaukee.”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

If you enjoy Sarma, Burek and Raznichichi, you cannot beat this restaurant. The other items on the menu are also excellent. Friendly waiters and very pleasing food and selection. One of the best restaurants in Milwaukee. The food is homemade quality and price resonable.

Talk about one of a kind. This is a restaurant that cannot be reproduced. I will spare the details because truly you're walking into another world when you go here. The service is awesome, the food is interesting, complex, very unique! Make sure you have a lot of time when you go here, and try to choose a slow evening, like a Tuesday, the Burek needs a lot of time to cook. This is a Must for Milwaukee restaurants.

“Always Delicious”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We have been eating at Three Brothers for over 40 years. I have never been disappointed. I usually get the Burek but taste everyone else's too. Be prepared for loud and crowned. The appearance doesn't begin to hint at the quality of the food. Everything is perfect. Take cash because they don't take credit -- maybe a lot of cash. With drinks we usually end up spending $50-$60 per person.

“The best Burek ever.”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

Great charming old school location. Do not expect white table cloths. This is old school formica mix-matched tables/chairs, china, etc. and this all adds to the charm. Also, note well, They do not take credit cards but they will take a personal check or cash! We love the flavors and the care that goes into each dish. The Burek is worth waiting for and do not go without trying a burek. We like to order one as soon as we sit down, enjoy a drink and then order our food. The burek may serve as our appetizer to be shared with a serbian salad which is fresh and tasty.
