What a find! It was a walk back in time that I thoroughly enjoyed. I wish my mother was still alive. She would have loved it as she would have remembered many of the items in the museum. Well worth the time spent. Loved the personal guided tour.More

Thank you so much for finding us! Our staff also really enjoy giving the guided tours available at all times.
We had a "personal" tour. We found out many different things about Milwaukee that had not heard before. Great piece of nostalgia.
Thank you for writing a review and helping make this "hidden gem" publicized for future visitors. We do try to educate on some little known 1920s and '30s Milwaukee trivia.
We visited this museum on June 20th. The entrance of the parking is on ...street. There are 4 parkings marked with Chudnow. The museum shows the collection of Avrum Chudnow in different dioramas. Every shop existed in the 1920-30 in Milwaukee. You have the choice to explore the museum by your own or to take the guided tour. We did the later and enjoyed every minute.
Thank you for visiting us! It was great to talk to you after the tour and hear the perspective from someone visiting us from another country. We are pleased that we met your expectations.
The tour guides are fantastic and give you details you probably won't have known about early Milwaukee. I love how they have so many different details in the rooms. They maximize space available.
Thank you for the review and even more so for visiting us! We enjoy conducting tours and sharing Milwaukee history.
We found the Museum of Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. We are SO glad we did!! It is affordable, enjoyable and the staff is so knowledgable!!! We really enjoyed the guided tour and hearing about all the details and history of Old Milwaukee. We are so happy that we visited the Museum of Yesteryear and are definitely going to visit again!!
We are so glad you visited us and thoroughly enjoyed it! We are adding to the displays often and even changing around a few right now, so that when you visit us again there will be new artifacts to see.
I took my senior group to this museum, and they truly enjoyed looking through a collection from WWI and WWII. There were items that brought back memories for all of them, and thus, more history was learned. This little known museum (they only opened in August of 2012) is a true gem, and well worth the $4 tour fee.
