“Nicely done.”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

Some nice restaurants along the walk on both sides of the river. They cleaned the area up nicely. It's nice there on a warm summer day and early fall also.

“Romantic if you wanna make it; peaceful if you are alone!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Go in the night to feel the sielnce & the chill; go in the morning for a jog, noon for reading a book on the benches at the side. spread for > 5 blocks ( i have done the same 5 for 3 times now) - well kept benches, sculptures around on both the sides, ample eateries on both sides, buildings with metal fishes on it.
Go with a partner, after dinner to spend some cozy close intimate time while glancing over the long river. And if you are going at the right time, you van get to kayak the river as well.

“Lots of steps”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

We walked about six blocks of the River Walk. Enjoyed the sculptures (brochure racks are placed frequently along the walk). Lots of steps, but there also were lifts available.

“Milwaukee Parking Restrictions”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Watch out for overnight parking restrictions or you will be subject to a parking ticket. Many regulations listed on their website. Street are congested with very little parking in certain residential areas. Left turn lanes very limited and roads are in need of repair. Riverwalk is OK but too many buildings and little park space along it in the downtown area. Again, you must pay to park nearby. Lake Michigan shoreline is more open with park like features.
