This was a really great experience in Milwaukee. Lots of great hands on science exhibits and an aquarium to boot! My children had a really great time, and so did I, which is sometimes rare with attractions like this. As a bonus it is right on Lake Michigan, so the scenery around is just amazing. The only issue was the extreme cold that day. We couldn't really do much outside, but we are hoping to go back when it is warmer and visit again!

My husband LOVED this place. We spent over 5 hours there. Took the behind the scenes aquarium tour. There are lot of kids. I mean ALOT. But, we braved the children and had a great time. Lots to see and touch!

I took my children to the old Discovery World at the Milwaukee Museum. It pales in comparison to the beautiful Museum that has emerged on our Lake Front and aptly named Discovery World. It is an exciting place that peeks the interest and curiosity of every attendee. You won't be disappointed. The exhibits rotate often and it is set up to appeal to young thinkers and beyond

Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan is this outstanding science museum. With exhibits to please all ages, everyone will be entertained and educated. From a full-scale ship to a giant scale model of the Great Lakes to a much larger aquarium than you would expect (there's a flounder!!!), the part of the museum that focuses on water is a delight. The more technological sections include a small flight simulator, many simple machines, a page exhibit about Les Paul and his electrified guitar, AND a bed of nails. Be sure to lie down on that. If you are visiting the Art Museum, this is right next door. Don't miss it!

My husband and I are fond of museums, we visited this museum in Dec 2013 over a weekend trip to Milwaukee. This is very informative museum for kids ages between 5-12. They have best exhibition about how water company works and how water is wasted/conserved. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here, which we did on a cold saturday. Although I feel they don't have any specific theme for this museum, but the exhibits were good. Their cafe doesn't offer much of vegetarian choices, I eneded up filling up on power bars. We could find free parking spot nearby as it was winter.
