Owner description: Milwaukee's only place for hands-on play and interactive learning, just for kids 10 and younger and their grown-ups! The Betty Brinn Children's Museum is dedicated to providing interactive exhibits and educational resources that promote the healthy development of children in their formative years. Exhibits include a kid-sized town; an area exploring the visual, language and performing arts; a life-sized board game that teaches kids about being healthy and taking care of our bodies; an inviting play just for children age 4 and younger; and a special exhibits gallery that features exhibits such as The Adventures of Mr. Potato Head, Tinkertoy: Build Your Imagination, Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl: Home Sweet Home and much more! The Museum also features two outdoor exhibits in the summer.

“One of the better places for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

My young kids love this museum. We are able to spend a couple of hours there and keep interest with all ages. BB is not big enough to "kill" a day, but can help fill a couple of hours.

“Great for kids 10 and under.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This is a great place to visit if you are from out of town with kids under 10. Although there much of this hands in activity center is the same as the last visit there was one large area that has changed significantly since 3 years ago. The new "50 states" exhibit is VERY well done. This is a great place to take the kids when at the lakeshore.

Kids spent the whole day there and didn't even do everything they had to do there. It was lots of fun!

“Lots of Variety”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

There are so many great places at this museum to explore. Anything from a grocery store, mechanic shop, pizza place and post office, all having phones to call each other. The traveling exhibits are always fun too like the Mr. Potato Head one a few years ago. My kids also enjoyed the newer health-based life-sized game and the dance area. There is also a puppet area and art area too. Oh, and there is a nice gated off area for the littler kids too.
