We havent been on a date night for a while and decided to give the DInner Detective a try.
First what we didnt like...
The dress code on the web site is not even close to what they allow in to attend. There were jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, wrinkled sweaters, cargo pants to name a few. Sadly the men were the culprits of the poor dress code. Try dressing up for the wife or grilfriend once in a while!!! Well, the wife and I were overdressed for the event. The main actors failed in this area as well.
The price for what you get was not even close to a value or fair $140. The whole event is held in a small dining room with the acting occuring in the middle of all the tables. The portion of the food was small and they advertise coffee, ice tea or milk and we asked for ice tea and they had none. We did have plenty of water. Prior to the event we all were placed in a hallway type area like sardines, but they managed to fit a cash bar in there as well.
What we did like...
Salad was good, the chicken was good, getting audience involved was fun and as usual we got an opportunity to spend time together doing something different.
Reccomend- only if you have $140 for a date night
