Went there on Saturday evening around 5:30 and got a table right away. If you go later, expect a wait since the place is rather small and they don't take reservations. The staff was very friendly even though they were very busy. They all seemed to work together to provide good service. We started with apps of baked goat cheese and garlic bread. Both were good but the pasta was the real star. It was perfectly cooked. I had spaghetti with a primavera sauce which consisted of two types of squash, broccoli, peppers and tomatoes. I had them add italian sausage to it as well which was nicely spiced but not spicy. The other pasta at our table was an angel hair pasta with pomodoro which was also excellent. Then for dessert, we split a very tasty panne cotta which had a chocolate and caramel sauce on it. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I would definately recommend this place if you're looking for a nice meal. In total, the check was $50 which for the amount of food and quality, it was a very good value.

Thoughtfully prepared dishes in a vibrant little neighborhood place. Good service, great value and lively feel give it a niche that this city needed filled.

The neighborhood where this restaurant is seems a bit iffy, but actually that part of Center Street in Riverwest is pretty cool. Expect to be a bit wowed when first walk in the door. We both said out loud, "This is cool!" It's an open concept place; there's a bar upstairs. It's warm, inviting. We normally don't do this but we just wanted to go to the bar, sit down and have a glass of red wine to slowwwwwww down the experience. We ended up just staying at the upstairs bar and having super there. We had a pizza/salad app (don't remember exactly what it was called) and some pasta dishes which were great. It was an anniversary celebration and because we had such a nice time we were debating about whether we should keep it special for us and only come back only once a year on our anniversary ...but that's NOT going to happen! It's a great place. Prices seemed very reasonable to us. We were there early in evening and took advantage of some specials. We did $8 for 2 glasses of wine and $8 for half a salad and a small pizza. FABULOUS!

Went tonight.and was worried as it only had 8 reviews. I was lucky and got in before the wait started. The don't take reservations. Food was awesome! I had the asparagus wraps and PENNE CON SALSICCIA and both were great. They cook right in the front.

I am from out of town and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives here or is traveling here!

Price was great for everything i got!

I will go again if in this neck of the woods

While the restaurant is small, the atmosphere is charming. Meals are delicious and cooked right in front of the restaurant. Fresh Italian cuisine utilizing locally grown ingredients. I especially liked the spicy seafood pasta. Being from Florida, I know seafood. The shrimp, scallops and calamari were cooked perfectly on the open grill. Definitely recommended.
