We were out in the Third Ward on a sunny Saturday, and decided on Cafe Benelux for brunch. We wanted to be on the roof and had about a 20 minute wait at the bar. It passed quickly and we got a choice table to our liking. The Menu was interesting, and I had the Ahi Tuna salad and my husband the Ham and Brie sandwich. They were both very good. The salad was fresh and had olives, crunchy green beans, egg , onions and a sliced little red potato. Very refreshing. I guess my husband enjoyed his, there wasn't much left on his plate. Reasonably priced and ideally located, made it a fun place to eat. We will return.

Thank Sue O

The beer selection was incredible and generally well priced but we were gouged on the Margarita. My girlfriend requested a "Cadillac Margarita" and we were served with "Patron Silver $7, Grand Marnier $7 and Margarita $3". $17 for a Cadillac Margarita is more than the Four Seasons charges. The manager told us he was impotent to help (not his word, actually) but if the drink costs that much the waitress should have told us when we ordered. Excessive.

We also ordered the mushroom flatbread. Very tasty although spoiled somewhat by excessive balsamic drizzled all over.

We are unlikely to return.

We were in Milwaukee for 3 days and ate breakfast here twice. That should tell you something. Would have come back for dinner but felt we should experience more of Milwaukee.
