My husband and I love steak houses and have been to many across the country. On our trip to Milwaukee last weekend, friends made reservations here since it was largely the same staff from Coerpers, which we had been to several years ago. Everything was excellent! The bar was very long, lots of room for sitting at, as well as multiple tables in the bar area. Mike, the bartender, was a lot of fun and made a great Cosmopolitan (he said it was "the best this side of the Mississippi" and he was right!). After being seated at our table, our waitress was very attentive and paced the meal perfectly since we wanted to linger and talk with friends. The meal begins with a traditional Milwaukee relish tray and yummy warm bread. It also includes a salad and choice of potato. My baked potato was huge and my husband had to help me finish it. We both ordered the filet mignon and it's difficult to describe how very flavorful it was. The outside had a crusty grilled coating and the inside was so tender it melted in your mouth. This steak house is at the top of our list for great food and will be a "must" on future trips to Milwaukee.
