Wow! were my thoughts when I opened the door of my junior suite. The kitchen come living room was in top decorative order, spacious with a 15 foot ceiling, big windows, setee, tables, the full monty. If only I could find a place like this during my prolonged business trips. Seperate bedroom with linked bathroom and 2nd outside basin. Lots of draws and cupboard space throughout, biggish TV's in both rooms and a DVD player. Can't comment on kitchen performance but the twin electric grill, large micro wave and big fridge looked fine. Aircon was quiet and highly effective. Next room to mine was even larger. The hotel, at least looking from the riverside, is a magnificent looking ex-department store located on the riverwalk, perfect for boat trips, bars, coffee or restaurants which you will need as there is not one within hotel. Covered parking ($12 I think) within the hotel but I found plenty of free parking on the meters during my Saturday night stay. Did not try the gym, pool or free internet. If I have to find fault then it would be the bathroom and kitchen fittings had a slight budget feel (but perfectly adequate), thinnish internal walls, smallish dining area where the inclusive buffet was available and a rather bland entrance and reception for such a grand building.
