“Excellent coffee and muffins for breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2012

Quick and easy service, located right at the mall exit for the Courtyard Hotel. If you are staying at the CY, you should have breakfast at Wildflour

“Wanted to love this cafe, but too grossed out to return.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2012

My partner and I wanted to really love this little corner cafe and bakery - such a prime location in Baview, locally owned with local product and cute little window dispays...

...however, on the 2 different occassions that we have visited this bakery, we have noticed house flies or fruit flies buzzing around INSIDE the front bakery case. For our first visit, we tried a muffin and cupcake...both of which were a bit disappointing and flavorless. The bread loaf we picked up, however, was delicious. Mutli-grain goodness with a nice firm crust!

On our second visit, we waited for almost 15 minutes while the lone girl made sandwiches for the couple ahead of us, but after getting plenty of time to eyeball the dustbunnies on the counter and the afore-mentioned flies in the case, we opted for coffee only on that visit and booked it out of there straight away.

I'm a huge fan of Sven's (on KK), but feel that Wild Flour is missing a flavor element that this cafe has...and when the front of house looks dirty, it makes one fear what may be lurking in back that is not visible.
