If you're visiting Milwaukee, interested in how beer is made, and want to sample their local beer (lots of beer) you must visit Milwaukee Brewing. Reading the other reviews, I'm not sure they were at the same location. There was no food, or store to buy gifts, or limit to the beer. We walked in on Frid afternoon 4:30, paid our $7 each and receive our beer glass. We were asked to walk over to the make shift bar and try a sample (11 to pick from the day we were there). The first pour was a full glass and after that half glass but no limit. You receive a wrist band after you pay your $7. After a few beers, Shawn started the tour. The place isn't very big so you don't walk very far from the bar area. He presented very well and when our beers were low we went back for 2nd/3rd/4th...beer during the tour. At the end of our tour, he moved on to his 6:00pm tour and by then the place was crowded with people and drinking samples and having a good time. Nobody asked us to leave, I think we could have stayed until closing if we wanted. We tried most of the beers, and they were all great. Also....they will give you a token to be used at a local bar in the area that serves their beer. So we walked a few blocks away to a bar that had fish/chips and ordered another "free" beer to go with dinner. I don't think there's a better beer tour value in Milwaukee (if there is someone please tell me about it). This was our first trip visiting and if we're ever back we'll make sure to stop in for another beer tasting. One last thing, the tour guides do not accept tips, all tips go into the jars on the table.
