This Days Inn is relatively new, so the facilities are in very good shape. That's where the good ends. The neighborhood is not good, and yes, I'm not just generalizing. More than one different person from the area mentioned this. Besides safety, the area has absolutely nothing convenient to it--no food, pharmacies, etc. This might not be a problem if the shuttle was functional. I tried using it, and the first thing the driver said when I got in the van was 'hey I gotta hit the liquor store before it closes.' We're off to a great start. His attempt at 'picking up' another passenger along the way was stopping long enough to look to his left, then his right, then speeding off and swearing about the guy. When the hotel desk then called the driver, to mention that that passenger was asking where his shuttle was, the shuttle driver says 'I waited there for 5 minutes for him! FIVE MINUTES!' (this is obviously a complete lie). The shuttle driver never once asked me where I wanted to go, and acted as if he was doing me a favor, not at all trying to be helpful. The front desk was not literally rude, but also did almost nothing to try to be welcoming. Within a few more years when this hotel and its facilities gets a bit older, that last bit of the something it had going for it will vanish. Do yourself a favor and find another place--there ARE others at the same price point that are not this pathetic.
