Overall this tour/experience was very good. We were able to sample pizza from four different locations. We were given enough pizza to satisfy our appetites. The dessert at the end--gelato was yummy and something unique. Our only complaint was the bus accommodations. There was no air conditioning and the seats were very close together allowing for virtually no leg room.

Thank you so much for your feedback, we're glad you had fun on the Pizza Bus. We're thrilled to share that we actually bought a bus of our own this month, which does have air conditioning and coach seats! We didn't want to raise the price too high by providing a coach on past tours, and are large enough to have finally bought our own bus now to keep ticket costs low. It is in for a paint job and detailing now, so the next time you are in Milwaukee, check out another one of our bus tours!

First things first: we were mislead by the description of the tour listed on their website as follows "This tour samples a wide range of cuisines, all of which are tied together nicely with a 5-ounce sample of genuine Wisconsin-brewed beer" we were under the impression each food sample was paired with a 5-ounce beer... nope, the whole tour is paired with one 5-ounce beer. Just thought I would clarify for any others interested.

That aside, I asked for this tour as a birthday gift and it made for a very fun date! It was very interesting to learn about some of the history of the third ward and tid-bits about the places at which we ate.

Our tour started at the Milwaukee Public Market with some awesome soup. Followed by margarita pizza, then grilled cheese sandwiches at an interesting ping-pong bar. The 4th stop was to a Mediterranean restaurant called Tulip. I was very disappointed with the food at Tulip, we got chicken kabobs which were bland and way over cooked. The final stop was for some ice cream at a BBQ joint.

My fiance and I really enjoyed the food tour (even though we thought there would be more beer) and we are looking forward to another tour in the future, hopefully with more of our friends. This tour really was a unique date and a perfect excuse to spend a weekend in Milwaukee. We are both so thankful the tour introduced us to the Milwaukee Public Market!

Thank you so much for your feedback. We'll tweak our website text to clarify that it is the meal, not every stop, that is tied together with a Milwaukee brew. If you return to Milwaukee, be sure to check out our Walker's Point Dine Around, or our new Historic Bar Tour, as they both provide alcohol at multiple stops. Thank you again for spending time in Milwaukee with Milwaukee Food Tours!

My mom came into town to visit over the 4th of July weekend. We recently did a food tour in Chicago that we loved so I thought about doing one here in Milwaukee. I love bloody marys and think Milwaukee has the best so naturally I decided to take her on this tour. We were not disappointed! I had expected to have four traditional Milwaukee bloodies but I was pleasantly surprised to get four very different types at restaurants and bars that I had not necessarily expected to have a great bloody. The tour included enough food to complete a full meal. We did not leave feeling hungry. Our tour guide, Jean, was excellent! She was friendly, fun and quite knowledgeable about the history of the city of Milwaukee. I learned things about the city that I had never heard before. I would definitely recommend this tour. I should also note that they offer drinks other than bloodies if one is too spicy for your taste buds. Others ordered mimosas, beermosas, screwdrivers, and also nonalcoholic drinks.

We took the Third Ward Food tour, not knowing what to expect. We're locals but never spent much time in the Third Ward. Starting at the Milwaukee Market was a great intro to the area. I've driven by it hundreds of times but never realized what was there.
We had good soup out on the sidewalk outside the Milwaukee Market, and then went down the riverwalk for great, authentic, pizza margarhita, (just like in Rome) and one of the best toasted cheese sandwiches ever. We had tapas with black bean rolls covered with salsa, and ended back at the Public Market with a handmade chocolate. We didn't get out of the Public market without buying other great food to take home.
Our guide gave us lots of fun facts about the area, and had every stop lined up perfectly so that when we walked in the door, the food was waiting for us and the staffs were ready and happy to see us.
One of the best things about the tour was that it opened us to some great new places to eat and entertain family and friends.
Great tour, great food, and great guide, a great way to spend a Sunday!

Seriously, this was an excellent tour. Our guide was outstanding and very knowledgeable about the area. As our small group stood out in front of our first meeting spot, we all started talking and getting to know one another. After finding a little bit about each other, we met our guide and went into our first spot. The food here, along with the rest of the tour, was great. We didn't leave hungry! To be fair, this tour isn't a smorgasbord buffet, but there is enough food that you should be adequately full. Along our walk, we were greeted with plenty of history as well as time to listen to and converse with our guide and trip mates. Our guide did an outstanding job of making sure that she was loud enough so that everyone in our group could here the factual tidbits, but also made sure to check in to make sure that we could hear what was said (Brady St. is a working street after all!) Around the third space, we started taking group pictures with the other tour patrons (it was myself and a friend, and then three different families) and by the end if was like 10 strangers who had become friends! Our final stop was to a local bar/tavern and we left with a souvenir/keep sake. Reflecting about our time in Milwaukee on the drive back home, we were talking about the highlights of the trip, and both of us said at the same time that the Brady Street Food Tour was our favorite thing of the entire trip! I would recommend (and already have) this trip to anyone!!

Thank you so much for attending our Brady Street tour, and telling the world too! Our tour guide, Jessie, has been leading tours for 3 years now and she told me that it was just a spectacular tour group and day!
