Description: Glorioso’s Italian Market is a family-owned business located on Brady Street since 1946. Purveyors of old-world Italian specialties in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. Fresh, handmade sausages, mouthwatering deli creations and piping hot pizza are just a few of our specialties. Browse our aisles of cheese, wine and pasta. Linger over the amazing selection of olive oils, fresh and frozen pastas, and delicious bakery creations. With a vast array of olives, cheeses, wines, imported meats and delectable sandwiches, along with pastries, cookies, and gelato, Glorioso’s is the perfect stop for a great meal.Glorioso’s has been tantalizing the public’s taste buds with rare Mediterranean treats for over 6 decades. Upon stepping over the threshold, you can see that, four generations later, this is one store that has kept its old world charm. As you walk through the store, you will see family photos scattered throughout. If you stay long enough, you’re bound to run into Joe, Ted or Eddie, the founding brothers, ready to fill you in on the history behind each photograph: from pictures when they got out of the service in WWII, to the first truck they bought for the store, to the TV commercials that feature cameos of two more family members. But if the looks alone aren’t enough, just inhale deeply and you will catch the aroma of one of the many secret family recipes wafting from the back deli. It could be Nonno Felice’s sausage recipe, made fresh daily. Or it could be the house marinara sauce simmering on the stove. Or the Trio’s pizza baking to perfection in the oven.Glorioso’s won the award for Small Business of the Year in 2007, and has had numerous articles written about us in the Milwaukee Journal and the Shepherd Express. We won “Milwaukee’s Best Deli - 2011" from OnMilwaukee and our new store has received several awards for its innovative design. Bring the family over, we'd love to meet you!

“Amazing Italian selection north of Chicago”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2014

My wife has been stopping at Glorioso's Market for years, savoring the fresh, authentic Italian meats. cheeses and fresh pasta. Recent years haven't allowed us the time to make the trip from Green Bay, but after spending the night in the area we "had" to stop by to pick up a few items...

Top of the list was some spiedini, a favorite, rare treat. Since my wife became gluten free a few years ago we've rarely come across good, well made (if frozen) pasta. So, it was fantastic when we came across some here.

So, I'm looking forward to having some authentic Italian treats in the coming days and weeks!

“A Must Stop for Foodies”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

Tradition, a great selection of local and imported products, a superb deli counter, friendly staff, and authenticity make this market, just north of the downtown center, a worthy destination. It's dangerous to shop here on an empty stomach, so grab one of the fantastic fresh-made sandwiches or a pre-made item from the deli counter and enjoy in the seating area near the entrance; then go back with your basket and grab the speciality ingredients for fantastic meals at home. Excellent selections of wines, olive oils, cheeses, dry pasta; and harder to find items such as marinated anchovies, which was on my list of hoped-for items. If you've experienced the covered Italian market on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx, this is a joyfully similar experience.

Has really good food in both the grocery & the deli sections. Smells just like you think an Italian grandma's kitchen would smell like, hmmmm heavenly!!!

“Great food experience!”

I have known about Glorioso's for several years but I took my whole family there tonight. With a group of diverse tastes, everyone was thrilled with the food. Staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. Great family atmosphere, the owner Ted, and his son Micheal were warm and welcoming.

“Best Italian grocery around”

My family has shopped Glorioso's for over 50 years. My husband and I always find our favorite products, and discover new ones all the time. Well worth the long trip to Brady Street.
