Description: Glorioso’s Italian Market is a family-owned business located on Brady Street since 1946. Purveyors of old-world Italian specialties in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. Fresh, handmade sausages, mouthwatering deli creations and piping hot pizza are just a few of our specialties. Browse our aisles of cheese, wine and pasta. Linger over the amazing selection of olive oils, fresh and frozen pastas, and delicious bakery creations. With a vast array of olives, cheeses, wines, imported meats and delectable sandwiches, along with pastries, cookies, and gelato, Glorioso’s is the perfect stop for a great meal.Glorioso’s has been tantalizing the public’s taste buds with rare Mediterranean treats for over 6 decades. Upon stepping over the threshold, you can see that, four generations later, this is one store that has kept its old world charm. As you walk through the store, you will see family photos scattered throughout. If you stay long enough, you’re bound to run into Joe, Ted or Eddie, the founding brothers, ready to fill you in on the history behind each photograph: from pictures when they got out of the service in WWII, to the first truck they bought for the store, to the TV commercials that feature cameos of two more family members. But if the looks alone aren’t enough, just inhale deeply and you will catch the aroma of one of the many secret family recipes wafting from the back deli. It could be Nonno Felice’s sausage recipe, made fresh daily. Or it could be the house marinara sauce simmering on the stove. Or the Trio’s pizza baking to perfection in the oven.Glorioso’s won the award for Small Business of the Year in 2007, and has had numerous articles written about us in the Milwaukee Journal and the Shepherd Express. We won “Milwaukee’s Best Deli - 2011" from OnMilwaukee and our new store has received several awards for its innovative design. Bring the family over, we'd love to meet you!

Glorioso's has, quite possibly, the best Italian cooking supplies in all of Milwaukee. They also serve wonderful food, have excellent coffee, and delicious gelato (try the lemon - it's awesome!). In addition, they have the best cannoli ever. Seriously - if for nothing else, go here for the cannoli. They're...wonderful. There are no other words to describe how wonderful they are. The housemade sausages are great on the grill in the summer, and they usually have fresh cut steaks.

The store also has a great selection of olive oils, vinegar, salami, and cheese. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you want to eat any of the fresh pastries, they also serve Alterra coffee.

The deli at Glorioso's is delicious. I love the flatbreads and paninis. My boyfriend has the Human Torch sandwich nearly every time (hot muffaletta, provolone, spicy deli meats). However, there's so much more to love in the store. The cheese and meat selection is wonderful, their dry goods collection is a great resource (pastas, pasta sauces, pestos, tapenades, olive oils, vinegars....), and the atmosphere is happy and warm.

Every time we enjoy lunch or dinner here, we can't help but look at each other and say, "This place is awesome!" Milwaukee is fortunate to have Glorioso's in town.

Have been coming here for over 20 years. Excellent real italian food like we grew up with in Little Italy in Baltimore. Wonderful store run by a great group of people. Shop & take stuff home with you - we just bring cooler to bring it back in. Sauces are excellent - as our the meats, antipasto, cheeses, breads, stuffing crumbs, and their seasoning mix is the BEST EVER.

Right...so how many grocery stores are reviewed and given excellent ratings on Trip Advisor?

This place is IT and no matter how long we're in Milwaukee or where our travels take us, we always make a trip to Glorioso's.

There are specialty items here that you've never seen before! Exotic pastas, obscure spices and specialty cooking and baking items that you just won't find anywhere else. There is a very extensive selection of liquor, wine and beer, frozen prepared delicacies, homemade desserts, a meat case to put any other to shame and a deli section with more varieties of olives than you knew existed. The deli case of meats and cheeses is hard to fathom, and there is always a line for freshly made to order sandwiches. There are plentiful cheeses, sausages and bulk items. This place is Wonderland to the foodie Alice.

Really...you HAVE to visit Gloriosos. It's like an alternative universe of food goodness straight out of another era.

Always an enjoyable experience. Great Friendly service from family and staff. And their new store is spacious and has a miriad of products from the "old country". In addiition to grocery store items, they have wonderful deli foods that can't be found elsewhere. They do have seating for eating deli and sandwich items but have not done this.
