Description: Glorioso’s Italian Market is a family-owned business located on Brady Street since 1946. Purveyors of old-world Italian specialties in the heart of Milwaukee's East Side. Fresh, handmade sausages, mouthwatering deli creations and piping hot pizza are just a few of our specialties. Browse our aisles of cheese, wine and pasta. Linger over the amazing selection of olive oils, fresh and frozen pastas, and delicious bakery creations. With a vast array of olives, cheeses, wines, imported meats and delectable sandwiches, along with pastries, cookies, and gelato, Glorioso’s is the perfect stop for a great meal.Glorioso’s has been tantalizing the public’s taste buds with rare Mediterranean treats for over 6 decades. Upon stepping over the threshold, you can see that, four generations later, this is one store that has kept its old world charm. As you walk through the store, you will see family photos scattered throughout. If you stay long enough, you’re bound to run into Joe, Ted or Eddie, the founding brothers, ready to fill you in on the history behind each photograph: from pictures when they got out of the service in WWII, to the first truck they bought for the store, to the TV commercials that feature cameos of two more family members. But if the looks alone aren’t enough, just inhale deeply and you will catch the aroma of one of the many secret family recipes wafting from the back deli. It could be Nonno Felice’s sausage recipe, made fresh daily. Or it could be the house marinara sauce simmering on the stove. Or the Trio’s pizza baking to perfection in the oven.Glorioso’s won the award for Small Business of the Year in 2007, and has had numerous articles written about us in the Milwaukee Journal and the Shepherd Express. We won “Milwaukee’s Best Deli - 2011" from OnMilwaukee and our new store has received several awards for its innovative design. Bring the family over, we'd love to meet you!

“Wonderful, charming, neighborhood market”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

OK, while we love to cook, but sometimes, isn't it nice to have options where the majority of the meal is pre-made but it tastes SO good and just like home made? We buy the premade Bolognese sauce which is delicious, frozen gnocchi or ravioli where the options range from Osso Bucco or gorzonzola stuffed and toss with fresh parm! It's a wonderful shortcut for wonderful food. There is a great selection of Olive Oils as well as wines, etc. Just love the Ambience as well. The take out hot food counter is wonderful and the prices can't be beat.

“I've been enjoying Glorioso's since I was a teen.”
Reviewed April 30, 2012

There just isn't any other place like Glorioso Brothers in Milwaukee.
Everything is delicious and I make the trek regularly for their grated parmesan/reggiano blend, for their signature "dirty martini" juice/mix, high quality Italian specialties at excellent prices.
They treat me like an old friend each time I arrive, and I adore the customer service. It is like stepping back in time.

“Great Food & A Wonderful Store”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

When in Milwaukee we do Italian takeout from Glorioso - the eggplant rigatoni and flatbreads being our favorites. There is an extensive selection of prepared foods, olives, olive oil, breads, cheeses, etc. all of which is fantastic. Great craft beer selection too which surprised me. It is fun to just explore the store because there are so many wonderful and interesting things in it. A must-visit when in Milwaukee.

“Great Italian market, with good prepared food too”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

Glorioso's is more of a market than a restaurant. It has a wealth of Italian specialty products and more. It probably has Milwaukee's best selection of pastas, olive oils, specialty cheeses, Italian deli meats and salads and other Italian treats, along with wine, meat case, deserts, gelato and other products.

It also has a thriving prepared food deli, which can either be eaten "in" at a small eating area or carried out. The Italian sandwhiches are great, and the pizza and calzones are also quite good - and not very expensive. A great place to grab a quick lunch, or a light (or carry out) dinner. Be adventurous.

Glorioso's recently moved across the street from its old, much smaller location to the current one. That gave it the chance to add products and expand the deli. While it can still get a bit busy and crowded, enjoy the atmosphere!

“Best Italian deli in the state!”
Reviewed December 11, 2011

Thanks goodness for this place. You can get all your favorite Italian food here - all imported from Italy. Real parmigiano reggiano abounds - don't be fooled by the stuff in the green can at the grocery store. The Milwaukee mufelatta is the best Italian sandwich you can find - not an everyday sandwich though. Family run business at its best!
