Hotel Metro is a historic hotel that has been upgraded. Stayed in the sixth (top) floor in a king suite. Large living room/lounge area is separated from bedroom by a 3/4 wall that curves for nice effect. Bed was comfortable, whirlpool bathtub and a shower. Hard to regulate the temperature (had to open the windows on a frigid Milwaukee January to get the temp below 73 for sleeping). Staff was friendly and efficient.
Dining was underwhelming. Ordered takeaway breakfast burrito from the cafe downstairs one morning... not recommended (way too greasy).
Good value and good location.
