Stayed here two nights in early April 2006 for the NCAA hockey championships. Booked it primarily because it seemed to be the only Milwaukee hotel with at least a 2 star rating with any availability, and also because the price was very reasonable (59 bucks per night).
Given the price, this hotel fit my needs. However, I would say that the hotel is definitely worn and showing signs of heavy use. We had problems getting into our assigned room the first night (after arriving at 1:00 am) because the lock system would not accept the key card. Finally, after about 30 minutes and an attempt by the night security guard to get us in, we had to settle for a smoking room (the desk aff was very helpful, but that was the only room they had left). I would call the breakfast buffet below average, even by "free" standards.
All in all, not a bad choice if you get a good rate and are just looking for a place to sleep that is reasonably clean and comfortable. If you are looking for more than that, you probably wont find it here.
