Stayed here for our 41st anniversary. Wonderful experience! Service from everone we encountered was impeccable. We had planned on doing the river walk but weather was very cold so we never left the hotel. They have everything there that you need. Ate at the Mason Street Grill. Service and food were excellent. Got the bed and breakfast package. It was a very good value. Lived in Wisconsin all our lives and it was the first time at the Pfister but not the last!

We loved staying at the Pfister for our 25th anniversary. It was our first stay, but hopefully not the last! The clerk at check in asked if it was a special occasion and upgraded us to a suite for free when she heard it was our 25th. We were in the older part, not the tower. We went to supper and returned to find champagne chilling and chocolate covered strawberries with a handwritten note from the clerk wishing us a Happy Anniversary. So sweet!

The hotel was beautiful. Restored to Victorian splendor. It was not at all musty or stuffy. The wide hallways and high ceilings spoke of the elegance of times past (and present!) We had the bed and breakfast package which includes either valet or self parking. A fantastic deal for $150! The breakfast was yummy. We both had juice, omelet with toast and potatoes and an extra fruit plate and it was all covered by the voucher, so we only had to pay the tip.

Definitely would go again!

Room Tip: There was quite a bit of traffic noise on the Wisconsin Ave side, even 5 stories up.

My wife and I spent our 35th wedding anniversary at the Pfister yesterday. The grandness of the hotel speaks for itself in the beautiful architecture that was fully decorated for Christmas. But it was the service that made our stay there so memorable. We received complimentary champaign and strawberries delivered to the room. Our dinner at the Mason Street Grill was superb, again enhanced with dessert on the house. From the front desk, to the waitstaff, to the delicious breakfast in the Cafe' (make sure that you get an order of cheese blintzes to share), everything was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Every aspect of the Pfister is 5 star. Employees of every level, service, food and facilities.... top notch, friendly and informative. There are wonderful art collections/works throughout the hotel to discover. Many little sitting areas to read a paper, meet up with friends or for just taking it all in. Enjoy your morning coffee and/or breakfast by the lobby fire. This was like home away from home. Can't wait to go back.

I've been going to the Pfister for years. It is one of the great hotels, with a wonderful old world charm, great service and in a great location. We stayed there recently taking four rooms for the family. Just love the place.

Lovely old hotel, very well maintained, excellent service. I would highly recommend it. My husband and I went there for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. Didn't have a chance to use the spa or eat at the restaurant but we loved it.

We're just getting to know Milwaukee and the Pfister set the mood for a fun weekend and proved to be a perfect location for its easy, walkable proximity to museums, restaurants and attractions. The Bed and Breakfast Package included valet parking and breakfast in the hotel café for a surprisingly low price; we also took advantage of the last minute upgrade to an upper floor view room. Service in the café and at the concierge and front desks was outstanding. The room was very comfortable, generally quiet on the night of a large wedding, and the appointments and amenities were above average. Don't miss the chance for a cocktail in Blu, the lounge atop the tower. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Opt for an upper floor view room in the tower.
