I've been going to the Pfister for years. It is one of the great hotels, with a wonderful old world charm, great service and in a great location. We stayed there recently taking four rooms for the family. Just love the place.

Lovely old hotel, very well maintained, excellent service. I would highly recommend it. My husband and I went there for his birthday and we had a wonderful time. Didn't have a chance to use the spa or eat at the restaurant but we loved it.

We're just getting to know Milwaukee and the Pfister set the mood for a fun weekend and proved to be a perfect location for its easy, walkable proximity to museums, restaurants and attractions. The Bed and Breakfast Package included valet parking and breakfast in the hotel café for a surprisingly low price; we also took advantage of the last minute upgrade to an upper floor view room. Service in the café and at the concierge and front desks was outstanding. The room was very comfortable, generally quiet on the night of a large wedding, and the appointments and amenities were above average. Don't miss the chance for a cocktail in Blu, the lounge atop the tower. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: Opt for an upper floor view room in the tower.

Service is second to none ... even on Christmas when I am sure they are working with a skeleton staff. The rooms are in the process of some major renovations, which will be timely because they are about ready for it, but, with that said, the hotel itself is stunning and historic, as well as choc full of amenities. Well Spa is great, as are all of the restaurants, especially Mason Street Grill, but the cafe and Blu are also great options. Overall, I highly recommend the Pfister for your next Milwaukee visit and/or event.

If you like grand old hotels, you'll love the Pfister. The lobby is really spectacular. We stayed in the tower and the room was a larger, well appointed, quiet room with a very nice bathroom. They indicate that they are redoing the tower rooms to make them more modern. The servicing of our room was especially good. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This place gets it right. Very cool art throughout the hotel. The entire hotel is a mini art museum in its own right.
Close to the real Milwaukee art museum. Friendly staff. Less Harley rallly and brewery tour crap; more old world European charm, elegance, sophistication. Classy.
