“A Wonderful Experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2013

My adult daughter and I spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Pfister. It was our first time staying there. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the furnishings were elegant, the suite was spotless and the staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating. We had tea on the 23rd floor, and it was wonderful. This was a great experience for us, and we plan to do it again!

Room Tip: Stay in the historical section. It was a treat!

The hotel is every bit a 5-Star hotel. Fast customer service. If it's broke, they remedy the problem immediately! The ambiance is warm (Christmas Holiday decos). Front Desk was wonderful! I cannot say enough. Well kept, authentic furniture, wall coverings, etc. Had room service bring breakfast and that was certainly enough food and dressed just right! Fit for a King!

Room Tip: Some problems with the phones, which are probably original and could be switched out, but push in th...

This is a lovely hotel. The lounge area was outstanding. The staff was very professional. The suite was well appointed. The overall bed comfort was marginal, though. There also was a strong vibration and noise level in our room, due to an event being held in the hotel that evening.

We needed a bit of a break before the Holidays, and this was the perfect way to spend it. We felt like we were truly on vacation - the service was wonderful and we loved enjoying such an historic hotel right near our own home town.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the original rooms - which were closer to the street. The street noise did not...

My husband, young sons, and I just returned from our first stay in Milwaukee and we had a wonderful time at The Pfister! The minute we stepped into the historic building we were greeted with marble, granite, beautiful Victorian artwork, and lovely Christmas decorations. The ceiling in the lobby is glorious. The staff upgraded us to two large rooms in the historic part of the hotel. With young children the room service was a plus and the food was good. We enjoyed the pool (though a bit cold) and the view of the city of Milwaukee can't be beat. The beds were comfortable and all of the staff went above and beyond to help us with any needs. The hotel is about four blocks from the Children's Museum, Art Museum, and waterfront. You can expect the royal treatment if you choose to stay at The Pfister!

Room Tip: The tower rooms have a better view of the city but we enjoyed the historic charm of the original sec...

Everything about this gem is 5 stars. The lobby is a work of art. Speaking of art. Through out this lovely hotel are priceless works of art. The food is world class, as is the service. This hotel is reason enough to visit Milwaukee. Which has more things to do and see then you could imagine.

Room Tip: Try and get a room in the "Old" side.
