Places where escaped slaves were hidden. The curators were very well informed. This is an important historic site.

Not exciting unless you like that sort of thing. If you do this would be a great place to stop and visit.

Great historic place to see. I went there with my sons class and it's no small order to keep there attention, but they did. You even go through a tunnel used by the underground railroad. A real must see.

This was an excellent tour. We enjoyed touring the Milton House and learning the history behind it. We were surprised to hear that they could save cigar bands to purchase items in the late 1800's similar to S & H greenstamps - however since this was a nondrinking and nonsmoking establishment, the item was paid for in cash. Hearing and seeing the old hotels makes one think differently of traveling today.
The highlight of the tour was definitely seeing the root cellar and the tunnel to the log cabin as part of the Underground Railroad.
