First of all the Cranberry Inn staff is great. I have never had bad service here. The restaurant itself is beautiful since they did all of their renovations. The food is generally good, but it is so overprices. I had a chicken Caesar salad that $15, and it was a very small portion.

As we were walking towards the entrance, some folks were heading back to their cars saying the wait would be too long. We didn't think we'd have such a problem since the owner had personally entered our reservation earlier in the day.

So when we were told by the hostess it would be 30 - 45 min. wait, I reminded here we had a 7:00 reservation & it was a few minutes before that. Her response was, "Yes, but we got busy." As the owner was rushing by, I asked him what about our reservation. He said yes, but it would be a while because they got so busy.

It's a good-looking place after the remodel job, but they forgot to learn the meaning of reservations.

Just as well because in the short time we were there, my 12 yr. old grandson started sneezing & his eyes watering. The smell of the newly varnished interior was so strong it was stirring up his allergies as well as making the rest of us not want to eat in this relatively obnoxious odor.

We'd give it another try this summer to see if the place has aired out but are reluctant to do so because of the reservation experience.

Spent 3/4 thru 3/5 at the Cranberry Inn motel. Modern/comfortable/clean. First time users of the motel. We have frequented the restaurant on numerous occasions, you get what you pay for. Will contiue to frequent the establishment.

P.S. Went there after the snow storm of 3/1 and the parking lot was plowed for easy access.

Went with friends there last Valentine's day for their special.
These folks have done a great job with the place. Haven't been back there since, just haven't found the time, but a lot of people seem to be talking about how nice it is.

The Cranberry Inn is worth the trip. The menu is very creative and the dining room is gorgeous! The photographs on the dining room walls are beautiful! Most of the photos have been taken on the famous Turtle Flambeau Flowage.
