The menu contains numerous original contemporary American dishes with world influences. Two of the most popular items, lahvosh, is an Armenian cracker bread topped with a five-cheese blend, veggies, and a variety of meats and Meatloaf Mignon (this isn’t your mama’s meatloaf). The bar can mix up hand-craft cocktails, over 65 kinds of martinis, and offers an unique wine list. The menu is very vegetarian friendly (any meal can be altered) and contains over 100 gluten-free options. They also create their own spice blends that are available to take home. Reservations are recommended.

Great atmosphere, great food and super nice staff. I love their drink specials each night - always fun to try something new. Always a nice night out.

“most unique menu in town”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

This is a very good restaurant (particularly for a smaller community). I have eaten there twice and will definitely go back again. The fact that it is a local favorite says a lot! If you like "poutine", it is the best that I have EVER had, and given the number of Canadian relatives that I have in many different provinces, that is quite a recommendation!

“high quality food; nice atmosphere”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner at Zanzibar: smoked trout tacos, chipotle meatball in tortillas, and a seared tuna sandwich. All were excellent. Service was friendly and helpful.

I love the atmosphere at Zanzabar. The food is a bit pricy for me, but the martinis are worth it for sure. They have a wide variety.

“Great Food from a Local Pub”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

We sat at the window table-nice local view while enjoying a delicious meal: Oven Roasted Salmon Salad and my husband had the Ribeye Steak with Sauteed Vegetables etc. Just great! I love an interesting salad, and they do a wonderful job! Don't pass-up the desserts! We split the Chocolate No-Flour Cake--OMG! That with our left-over Pinot Noir--Fabulous! This is no time to worry about your diet!!! ENJOY!
